Milwaukee Bucks Fans Excited Over NBA Cup Championship Against the Oklahoma City Thunder
With everything happening with the Bucks this season, it must feel good for them to win the second annual NBA Cup after the Los Angeles Lakers won that a season ago. Milwaukee started the NBA season 2-8 and has played better basketball over the last month of the season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was also the MVP of this tournament. He was also the NBA Finals MVP back in 2021. This is what some of the Bucks fans had to say on Twitter after the championship win against the Thunder:
Historically speaking, 100% of the NBA Cup winners have been eliminated in the first round of the actual NBA Playoffs

A lot of Bucks fans are happy for Damian Lillard winning something. He has never won an NBA Finals in his career and has had many non-championship seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. This must feel good for the Milwaukee Bucks and Doc Rivers this morning. As for Darvin Ham, he has won back-to-back NBA Cup Championships.
Three Players In Double Figures For the Thunder
Oklahoma City’s offense struggled on Tuesday night against Milwaukee’s defense. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Oklahoma City Thunder with 21 points. He also grabbed four rebounds and recorded two assists. Jalen Williams also scored 18 points and Isaiah Hartenstein added 16 for the Thunder.
This may not be the last time this season that Oklahoma City could appear in a final. They could very well win the Western Conference this season. As for the Milwaukee Bucks, this is a feel-good story for them as each player will get over $500,000 for winning the NBA Cup.
