Pittsburgh Steelers’ rookie quarterback Will Howard has limited opportunity to be seen on broadcast this season and play significant minutes. It has everything to do with the fact that Aaron Rodgers became their instant main quarterback after signing with them early June.

Rodgers’ is not too sold about the idea about playing in pre-season game and Steelers fans instantly thought it would be their sixth round, 185th pick who will be their main signal caller in those three games. However, he suffered a finger injury which means he will be sidelined for a significant amount of time.
Fans were hurt by this development Rodgers said this should only be a small setback for the former Ohio State Buckeyes standout.
“I mean, it sucks,” Rodgers said on Wednesday.
“Sucks for him, for sure, ’cause he’s had such a nice camp as a young player. And then watching him at minicamp and seeing his command of the offense. But this year is a growth year for him. It’s a year to watch and learn — and obviously better himself. This will just be a minor setback for him.”

Rodgers added that Howard could use the time recovering to set his mind and body up and be ready once his time to become a main quarterback comes.
Many analysts already said that Howard is the one who’s going to benefit the most this 2025 season as a student of Rodgers.
