Brett Favre was one of the first to believe in Aaron Rodgers and now that his former Green Bay Packers teamamte and prodigy is in a situation similar to what he faced in his last years in Lambeau Fileld, he is still standing behind him.

Rodgers is with the Pittsburgh Steelers now after moving on from two failed season with the New York Jets. He hasn’t seen playoffs action since 2022 when he was still with the Packers. This is the root of doubts people are having against him.
There are major concerns about his capablity but Favre, who played for the Packers from 1999 to 2007, believes A-Rod still got it. However, there’s one thing he needs to overcome to be able to deliver – stay healthy.
“He can still play. There’s no question,” Brett told TMZ Sport.
“If he can stay relatively injury-free, I think the guy can bring a lot of victories to the table.”

Favre spent a couple of season together with Roddgers in Green Bay when the latter was drafted in 2005. There were talks of the former not being too accepting of the idea that he will get replaced but Rodgers clarified that Favre was helpful in his transition into a QB1.
Aaron Rodgers is biggest faller for oddsmaker
As Favre declares his belief for A-Rod, an oddsmaker thinks the Steelers’ QB1 will suffer the biggest regression this season.
Rodgers is ranked 20th in Yahoo! Sports’ ranking of starting quarterbacks with a 3.52 At The Spread difference, significantly higher than the 6.98. ATS garnered by number one and last year’s MVP Josh Allen of Buffalo Bills.
Citing a Vegas oddsmaker, the writer labeled Rodgers as the biggest faller this season.

“I think Rodgers has fallen off the cliff completely. His play wasn’t great in New York, and I think he goes to a worse offense in Pittsburgh,” one anonymous source was quoted as saying.
“Rudolph has experience playing under Mike Tomlin as well, so I don’t think there is a significant drop-off.”
