Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Tries To Shut Down Rumors Of Retirement After Win Against the Miami Dolphins
Rodgers had a great game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He completed 23-of-36 passes for 274 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. If this was his last NFL game, then it was a nice way for him to go out. After the game, Aaron Rodgers met with the media.
Reports were going around on Sunday mentioning that people close to him have said he is likely to retire from the NFL. Aaron Rodgers said:
“People said they were close to me?”
This is a very interesting quote from the star quarterback. He will no doubt take some time to think about his NFL future. Aaron Rodgers is 41 years old. Who knows if the New York Jets will want him back next season or if they will move on? If the Jets do move on, would Rodgers play for another team or would another team even want him? It would not be a surprise if Sunday was his last NFL game.

I think Aaron should retire. His dramatic personality is a little bit too much for what he lacks in skill at this age. He’s not going to be able to win anything for anyone without the perfect setup with an impenetrable o-line, great weapons, top 3 defense, and good scheme.

I don’t like the guy but it’s a good Tropic Thunder reference & was well delivered

He got a great paycheck, ran the entire offense, had all of his preferred personnel and failed miserably. Aaron will not go through this again

A lot of fans thought that his postgame press conference was funny. Many can speculate as to whether or not Aaron Rodgers will retire before the start of the 2025 NFL season. He will want to decide before the 2025 NFL Draft so he doesn’t put the New York Jets in a bad spot.
