The long-time Packer cornerback is coming off an injury-ladened season that prevented him from contributing to the team’s second half.
The team deciding to part-ways with the two-time Pro Bowl was first reported by Ian Rapoport.
Sources: The #Packers have had trade conversations centered around star CB Jaire Alexander and they are open to moving him for the right price.
Alexander, still just 28 and a two-time Pro Bowler, is considered to be the most decorated CB available.

The Packers front office, however, is not getting calls about him, according to an NBA insider.

The 2025 NFL Combine has taken place and that is an event where NFL team officials gather, and unofficially share their thoughts about the upcoming season.
Daire Carragher of 247 Sports was there to catch many of the scoop. In his recap of the NFL combine, he reported that there no takers for the 28-year-old Alexander.
This is not the first report about Alexander’s low value.
Carragher hinted that the veteran cornerback might just get released by the team.
.”I did hear from a member of a team with a plethora of day 3 picks who said Jaire was, and still is, a topic of conversation. But upcoming free agent corners are the focus, and Jaire is “a contingency plan, not a preference.” — got an exact quote that time as I was still reeling from the shrimp cocktail and feeling fairly sober.”
Right now, there are still no definite words yet from the Packers but several reports claim the team is already looking for his replacement, including taking a CB on the 2025 NFL draf.t
