Who’s going to be the main cornerback for the Green Bay Packers come the new season? Will it still be Jaire Alexander? Valentine Carrington?

That position is just of the many areas the front office. The other notable area is wide receivers.
Right now, it is hard to predict who will be their starting cornerbacks. However, the team have to make a decision quick or else, it will be trouble in Green Bay.
The lack of movement might lead to uncertainty according to an NFL insider. First prominent problem will be the departure of Alexander.
Packers writer Matt Schneidman predicts that the veteran CB might not even play in the next season.

“The future of Green Bay’s best cornerback, Jaire Alexander, remains uncertain,” he wrote on The Athletic.
“My guess based on what I’ve heard is still that he doesn’t play for the Packers in 2025. Eric Stokes, Corey Ballentine and Robert Rochell have signed elsewhere in free agency.”
Green Bay Packers should prioritize Jaire Alexander replacement
The Packers have CBs in the line-up that played huge minutes in important games last season. However, fans don’t seem to think they can carry the role tha well.
According Schneidman, the currently line up can still improve.

“The Packers brought in Nate Hobbs from the Raiders and still have Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine (Packer fans won’t be thrilled if that’s the top three), but their need for depth at the position is glaring. You could argue wide receiver is a more pressing need since they’ll be without Christian Watson for at least the first half of the season, but cornerback might be atop the priority list entering the NFL Draft in Green Bay next month.”
Right now, there’s still no credible news whether the Packers will make a move to acquire a new cornerback.
As for the draft, most mock drafts predict them to pick somebody on offense.
