The Detroit Lions have come down hard on the fan who got into a verbal shouting match with Packers head coach Matt LaFleur prior to a Week 14 showdown between the bitter NFC North rivals.
LaFleur and the fan exchanged words just prior to the National Anthem when the fan appeared to taunt the Packers’ head coach, and sideline, while on his way to hold the giant flag that stretched across the playing surface at Ford Field.
Well, Fahad Yousif, the fan in question, told Detroit’s WXYZ-TV that the Lions have revoked his season tickets following the altercation.

Ironically, it was the fact that he was a season ticket holder that allowed him to be on the field within shouting distance of LaFleur to hold the flag, in the first place.
The Lions wound up edging out the Packers on the back of a game-winning field goal as time expired, clinching a 34-31 victory. It appears that it will be Yousif’s last as a season ticket holder.
