Packers quarterback Jordan Love is in the midst of the strongest stretch of his season, and arguably one of the most impressive stretches of his career, in his second season as Green Bay’s starting quarterback.
With three games remaining, including a Week 17 tilt against the Minnesota Vikings that could potentially play a major factor in the NFC North race, Love has been a catalyst for the Packers playing meaningful football this late in the season with sights set on an outside chance at the division championship but with a playoff berth all but secured for a second consecutive season.
Key Stat Underscores Packers QB Jordan Love’s Dominance
Sunday night’s Week 15 blowout victory over the NFC West-leading Seattle Seahawks was the high-water mark of an impressive season from Love.
Love lit up the Seahawks’ defense for 229 yards with a pair of touchdowns and a whopping 123.8 passer rating, the second-highest of his season.
In fact, Love has posted a passer rating above 105 in each of the Packers’ five games while tossing eight touchdowns to just one interception over that span.
Green Bay’s showdown against the Vikings is sandwiched between a pair of winnable home games, against the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears, and if Love can continue to play at this high a level the Packers might just be peaking at exactly the right time.
