Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love may be in the midst of the most impressive stretch of his career.
The Packers’ second-year starting quarterback has Green Bay Surging into Sunday’s pivotal showdown against the Minnesota Vikings, winning nine of the last 11 games dating back to October 6.
Love has been maximizing his electrifying supporting cast of offensive weapons and is a driving force behind the Packers’ run to the postseason.
Entering Sunday, Love is completing 63.2 percent of his passes for 3,135 yards with 24 touchdowns to just 11 interceptions, while posting a 97.8 passer rating, representing the second-highest of his career.
As Pro Football Focus points out, Love’s success is coming in large part to consistent dominance in the vertical passing game.

Even though the Vikings’ defense is holding opponents to a meager 18.4 points per game, Love’s quick-strike and deep-ball ability could allow the Packers to move the ball effectively against a passing defense that’s been surrendering 248.7 yards per game.
“This is the best ball he’s played,” Packers head coach Matt recently told reporters, of Love. “Just when I look at all the little things.”
Love ranks 18th in the league in big-time throws, and he may need to make his share of them Sunday if the Packers are going to upset the Vikings.
