The Green Bay Packers may need to wait yet another week for veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander to return.
After taking part in Thursday’s practice as a limited participant, multiple reporters suggest that Friday Alexander appeared to be a spectator as the Packers went through their final practice ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Minnesota Vikings.
Christian Watson was in cleats but did not go through stretch with the rest of the team. Looks like he’s still in the rehab group.

Even after Alexander went through some drills Thursday, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was pessimistic about his chances of playing on Sunday afternoon.
“Probably not,” LaFleur told reporters.
Alexander hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury six weeks ago.
While only appearing in seven games so far this season, Alexander has produced 16 total tackles, while intercepting two passes and returning one for a touchdown.
Getting Alexander back in time for the playoffs in two weeks may be the most reasonable goal for the Packers, and the veteran would certainly give coordinator Jeff Hafley’s secondary a boost if and when he’s able to return to action.
