As several backup quarterbacks are being forced into action this week across the NFL, the Packers might be looking to upgrade their depth behind Jordan Love.
Green Bay’s Malik Willis could be a compelling trade target for a team such as the New York Jets, after Justin Fields suffered a concussion, or to back up Jake Browning with the Cincinnati Bengals, as Joe Burrow lands on injured reserve ahead of surgery to repair Grade 3 turf toe.
Packers could look to upgrade quarterback depth

If the Packers are intent on dealing Willis, Green Bay may need to add a backup to the room.
Monday, Green Bay worked out veteran quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and several other players.
Thompson-Robinson, 25, was released by the Philadelphia Eagles during roster cuts earlier this summer and has appeared in 15 games with the Cleveland Browns since being chosen in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, out of UCLA.
The three-year veteran free agent has completed 52.6 percent of his passes for 880 yards with one touchdown to 10 interceptions.
