Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton is from Wisconsin. There was even a point that he was slated to throw a pitch for the Milwaukee Brewers. that does not matter as he said he still hates it that his former teammate Myles Turner is playing for the Milwaukee Bucks now.

It is well documented how the Bucks and the Pacers hate each other. The two met twice in the last two postseasons with the latter coming out on top in both instances. The last one saw Haliburton getting into heated argument with several Milwaukee players including Damian Lillard.
Turner’s move to Milwaukee felt like a sucker punch for many Indiana fans given the history of the rivalry. He is now a villain to them.
Haliburton, who was unable to play the whole of Game 7 against eventual champions Oklahoma City Thunder, is happy that Turner is getting paid. However, what he cannot stomach is seeing him wearing Bucks jersey.
“He’s able to do that. He’s a guy I got to play alongside for a long time, and we grew a great relationship,” he said during an appearance at the Self Made Pro show on Youtube.

“Obviously, seeing him go to Milwaukee, I don’t like to see that. I don’t want to see him in Milwaukee.”
Turner signed a four-year, $108.9 million with Milwaukee.
Myles Turner’s reason for joining Milwaukee Bucks
Haliburton’s statement is just a double down of what he previously said about his friend.
“He’s done some great things, been a part of some great groups. But at the end of the day, it is a business. He’s got to do what’s best for him and I wish him the best moving forward,” the two-time All-Star said last month.
He got no ill feelings for the big man even if their fan base felt bitter about his reasoning.

Turner said during his introductory conference that he signed with the Bucks because he wants to continue playing competitive basketball. This is a direct comment to the Pacers’ direction for the 2025-26 seasons as they will play without Haliburton who will take one year to recover from torn ACL.
“Two years ago, we got to the conference finals,” he said.
“Obviously, last year we got to the Finals. Being a big part of winning basketball just changed my entire perspective on this league. I saw a chance to remain competitive here.”
