The Oklahoma City Thunder did what it was supposed to do Monday night at home versus the undermanned Milwaukee Bucks. The Thunder walloped the visiting team in a 125-96 win in a rematch of this season’s NBA Cup final. However, the Bucks were missing their top players in the contest, with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton all sitting out the contest.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault believed that the Bucks’ tight schedule of late led to the decision to hold Antetokoumpo back from suiting up against Oklahoma City.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ran circles around the Bucks’ backups, as he scored 34 points in just 22 minutes of action, making 15 of his 19 attempts from the floor. Even someone like Ousmane Dieng shined off the bench for the Thunder, as he had 21 points and eight boards. As for Milwaukee, Ryan Rollins paced the Bucks with 16 points while five others scored in double figures.
