Randall Cobb played a total of 10 seasons with Aaron Rodgers when the two played for the Green Bay Packers. After Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets, Cobb (along with quite a few more former Packers players) followed him as free agent signings. However, the veteran wide receiver started Jets training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported today that the Jets were activating Cobb off of the PUP list and that he will begin practicing with the rest of the team.

Beloved by Packers fans, Cobb being healthy would have been met with celebration in Green Bay. New York is a different animal, though, and apparently he is presence on the team is not appreciated by many Jets fans.
New York Jets Fans Don’t Care That Randall Cobb Is Healthy
Cobb has certainly had a long run of injury-plagued seasons. In fact, there have only been two seasons in his entire career in which he played a full season’s worth of games. After playing 15 games for the Dallas Cowboys in 2019, Cobb has appeared in 10, 12, and 13 respectively in each of the following seasons.
After signing with the Jets, many Packers fans, while saddened by his departure, realized that he was tied to Rodgers. Jets fans did, too. However, his inability to practice right away has made him forgettable among his new fanbase:

It sure is a shame to see a player that was so popular in Green Bay being treated in this manner. Then again, Cobb, Rodgers, and the rest of the former Packers on that roster knew what they were signing up for.
