The highly anticipated Madden 24 will be released on Aug. 18 and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, and PC. Those pre-ordering the deluxe edition will have early access to the game three days before its official release. Madden has released video games annually since 1989 and has become the go-to for NFL video games.
This year, Madden 24 will focus heavily on the franchise mode, as hinted in the trailers. The trailers showcase some exciting new features that fans will love.
New Features Coming In Madden 24 Franchise Mode
Mini Games/ Training Camp in Madden NFL 24
Great news for Madden fans: the classic Training Camp/Mini Games mode has returned to franchise mode! This means that during training camp, you can improve your players’ positions on the roster by running drills and playing mini-games specific to their positions. You can earn XP and other team progression items depending on your performance in these mini-games (ranging from bronze to gold). Even during the regular season, you can continue to improve by incorporating mini-games into your weekly strategy.
Team Building/Customization
Exciting updates have been made to the Madden 24 Franchise mode trading system. Madden now allows up to six trade assets, with teams having more tools to keep players under contract, such as updated free agency, franchise tag, and contract restructuring. The draft class generators have also been expanded, providing more realistic and fun options for drafting. Additionally, team relocations have been revamped with new cities and updated uniforms. More control over the league/franchise can be enjoyed through improved commission settings in Madden 24.
With more franchise mode updates being leaked/released, Madden players eagerly await what this year has in store after years of neglect.
