One former Milwaukee Bucks player has already signed with the Chicago Bulls this offseason. Jevon Carter inked a three-year deal to play for his hometown team over the weekend. Now, former Bucks free agent pickup Torrey Craig has also signed with Chicago.
Free agent F Torrey Craig has agreed on a two-year contract with the Chicago Bulls, sources tell ESPN. Deal includes a player option. Craig averaged 7.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in 24 minutes for Suns last season.

Torrey Craig Did Not Get a Good Role with the Milwaukee Bucks

When the Milwaukee Bucks signed Craig ahead of the 2020-21 season, fans were excited. He was (and is) a proven three-and-D wing with a good reputation around the NBA.
However, former head coach Mike Budenholzer buried Craig on the bench. In 18 games with Milwaukee, Craig averaged just 11 minutes, 2.5 points, and 2.4 rebounds per game. Those are, by far, the worst stats of any year with any team in his career.
The Bucks traded Craig for cash considerations in March of 2021 to the Phoenix Suns. Ironically, the two teams met in the Finals and Craig received a ring for the time he spent with Milwaukee that season. With Phoenix that year, he averaged 7.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in just over 18 minutes per game.
Clearly, Craig was not used properly by Budenholzer.
After the 2021 NBA Finals, Craig signed a multi-year contract with the Indiana Pacers. They, too, traded Craig back to the Suns midway through the season.
Last year, with Phoenix, Craig started 60 of the 79 games in which he played, averaging 7.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting a career-best 39.5% from three.
