NBA news: No one can deny the fact that Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant players in the game today. As a matter of fact, more than a few folks out there would be more than willing to argue that the Milwaukee Bucks superstar is currently the top superstar in the NBA at the moment.
As it turns out, however, the 28-year-old’s talents go far beyond the four corners of the basketball court. Based on a recent video that is currently makings its rounds on social media, Giannis appears to actually have a future in soccer.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Showcases Impressive Soccer Skills
In a recent event, Antetokounmpo was filmed flexing his keepy-uppy skills, which in soccer language, requires an individual to keep the football in the air by dribbling it with his or her feet. This is by no means an easy task, but it seemed that Giannis had no trouble with it at all:

That’s actually pretty impressive. As a kid in Greece, Giannis played soccer (or football) as well, which is a much more popular sport in Europe as compared to basketball. At one point, he actually had to choose between soccer and basketball. It goes without saying that Bucks fans are more than happy that he went with the latter.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Is Better Off On The Basketball Court
While it is clear that Giannis Antetokounmpo would have probably had a very promising career in soccer as well (after all, he is a physical specimen), there’s also no denying that he’s a much better basketball player. It would have been a complete shame if he never picked up a basketball and thereby robbed an entire generation of the privilege of having to witness his rise to glory on the hardwood.
Giannis still has a lot to prove, though. He’s already won an NBA title and has bagged multiple MVP titles, but at this point, Antetokounmpo is not resting on his laurels. The Bucks are coming off a disappointing 2022-23 campaign and you can be sure that Giannis will be back with a vengeance this coming season.
