Even though the NBA hasn’t started the new season yet, Giannis Antetokounmpo has found himself with so many things to do, such as training camp and staying healthy for the upcoming campaign. Fortunately, the Milwaukee Bucks star’s wife is always there to keep things light and remind him of what he’s working hard for.
A couple of weeks ago, Antetokounmpo married his longtime partner, Mariah Riddlesprigger, in a stunning ceremony in Greece. The wedding took place at the luxurious Costa Navarino resort near Pylos and marked the finale of a three-day celebration. The festivities began with a white dress party on Friday, followed by a vibrant Nigerian-themed event on Saturday.
The couple’s marriage was a blend of Greek Orthodox and Catholic traditions, reflecting their diverse backgrounds. Notably, Bucks teammate Khris Middleton served as Antetokounmpo’s best man, highlighting their long-standing friendship since they became teammates in 2013.
In an effort to maintain their privacy, Giannis and Mariah requested that the event be closed to media coverage. Reports indicate that all vendors involved signed confidentiality agreements to uphold this decision. The celebration was attended by around 200 guests, including high-profile personalities like LeBron James, tennis superstar Serena Williams, and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
