In a recent poll on X, formerly Twitter, Milwaukee Bucks reporter Nathan Marzion asked the fans a question about Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton. Marzion tabled an argument about who the worse defender is among the two veterans.
The result of the said poll is actually pretty shocking.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Bobby Portis a Better Defender Than Khris Middleton?
To be fair, defense is not exactly the most outstanding feature of either Portis or Middleton. However, it’s still quite stunning to think that nearly 20% of Bucks supporters — or at least those who took part in the survey — believe that what Portis brings to the table on the defensive end outweighs that of Middleton’s:

There’s no denying that Portis is a valuable member of the squad. However, he did not earn a finalist spot in this season’s Sixth Man of the Year award for his elite defense. The fact that some fans believe that Portis is a better defender than Middleton has prompted some strong reactions on X:

To be fair, it’s not just the 20% of the survey-takers (at least as of writing) who believe that Middleton is a worse defender than Portis. In fact, one reporter actually voted Portis as part of this year’s All-Defense team.
I love Bobby as much as the other guy, but this reporter needs his voting credentials removed.
