Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are cruising again. For the first time since the calendar flipped to 2025, the Bucks have consecutively after beating the Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs Wednesday night via a score of 121-105. That came after a 128-104 drubbing of the Toronto Raptors up north on Monday.
Antetokounmpo flexed his muscles against the Spurs, with the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player racking up 25 points on 11-for-21 shooting from the field, 16 rebounds and eight assists in 36 minutes of floor duty.

And with that performance, Antetokounmpo also broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record for most double-doubles in franchise history. Antetokounmpo’s double-double against the Spurs was his 432nd in his career, as announced by the NBA via its official X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter).

There will surely be more double-doubles to come from the “Greek Freak.” He is ony still just 30 years old. And so far in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, Antetokounmpo is averaging a double-double of 31.3 points and 11.8 rebounds per contest. Antetokounmpo is also capable of getting double-doubles outside of points or rebounds, as he’s also a great passer, averaging 6.2 dimes per game this season.
