The Milwaukee Bucks made a few pretty substantial moves ahead of the NBA trade deadline that have proven to have improved the team overall. In the 10 games they have played since the February 6th deadline, Milwaukee is 7-3. They have also won seven of their last eight games.
The biggest trade, of course, was when the Bucks sent Khris Middleton and AJ Johnson Jr. to the Washington Wizards for Kyle Kuzma and Patrick Baldwin Jr. (who was then sent to the San Antonio Spurs for cash).
But while that trade was the most noteworthy, it could be argued that the other two moves that they made have been just as impactful.
The Milwaukee Bucks Acquired Kevin Porter Jr. and Jericho Sims at the NBA Trade Deadline

Another trade that the Bucks made was sending Delon Wright to the New York Knicks in exchange for center Jericho Sims. While Sims did not see the floor much upon his arrival in Milwaukee, he has been getting regular minutes since the Bobby Portis suspension went into effect.
But perhaps the most underrated move at the deadline that was made by any NBA team was the Bucks sending former first round pick MarJon Beauchamp to the Los Angeles Clippers for Kevin Porter Jr.
Since he arrived in Milwaukee, Porter has taken over as the team’s backup point guard and is averaging 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists while playing 15.0 minutes per game. He was averaging 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists with the Clippers, but was also playing almost five more minutes per game.
Beauchamp, unfortunately, saw his time with Milwaukee come to an end. While the organization had high hopes for him when they selected him in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, he just never was able to elevate his game into being even a reliable rotation player.
Former Milwaukee Bucks First Round Pick MarJon Beauchamp Has Signed with the New York Knicks

After appearing in just three games with the Clippers following the deadline, Beauchamp was waived and became a free agent.
Earlier today, it was reported that he agreed to a two-way contract with the Knicks, one of Milwaukee’s biggest rivals in the Eastern Conference:

The Knicks are currently 40-20 and hold the third seed in the NBA Eastern Conference. Milwaukee has the fifth seed with a record of 34-25, 5.5 games being New York.
