The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the San Antonio Spurs by the score of 144-118 on Friday night. Now 26-20 on the season, Milwaukee will return home on Sunday after playing their last four games on the road out West.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks in the loss with 35 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and a block. Damian Lillard, who was recently named to his ninth All-Star team, had 22 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and a block. Khris Middleton added 21 points, four rebounds, two assists, and a block off the bench while going 8/9 from the floor.
Unfortunately, Milwaukee did not get much production from their other role players as the whole team looked ragged and tired for much of the night.
That is, except when tempers flared during an incident late in the game.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Was Tripped by San Antonio Spurs Guard Chris Paul
Late in the game, Giannis drove the basket and was tripped by Spurs guard Chris Paul, who has a history of similar dirty plays throughout the course of his career. The two-time NBA MVP took exception to Paul’s dirty foul and let him know about it, telling him to come see him after the game.
After the contest was over, the two exchange words, but Paul did not try to approach Giannis at all:
Giannis told him I’m here and Chris paul couldn’t stand on business no more LMAOOOOOOOO

As one can see, the Greek Freak stated, “I’m right here,” but Paul kept his own teammates and Bucks players between the two and did not advance more than several feet from Giannis.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Addressed the Situation with Chris Paul
When asked about the foul and confrontation after the game, Giannis told reporters: “They haven’t tried me. You gotta try me. People that know me, they don’t try me. If you try me, it’s a different side. Yeah. So if you try me, you’re going to get that different side of me.
“But yeah, okay, at the end of the day, like, we’re all men, I think we all respect each other. And if words cross the line, then there’s gotta be consequences. At the end of the day, like, I really, I don’t say that much. I don’t say much. I try to play the game the right way.
“Yeah, but enough is enough. Like if I feel like you’re putting my livelihood and my career and my body in jeopardy, in danger, enough’s enough, brother. I have a family to feed. And what makes you laugh can also make you cry sometimes.”
The Spurs and Bucks do not play each other again this season, which may be a good thing as it is obvious tensions are high between the two teams.
