The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night by a final score of 121-105. With the win for the Bucks, they improved to 19-16 on the season and the Spurs dropped to 18-19 on the year.
Before the game on Wednesday, head coach Doc Rivers decided to move Khris Middleton out of the starting lineup and have him come off the bench. One of the players who also came off the bench on Wednesday night was AJ Green.
Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers Thinks That AJ Green Should Be In the Three-Point Contest For NBA All-Star Weekend
This season, AJ Green has been a gem for the Milwaukee Bucks. Head coach Doc Rivers praised him once again after the game. On Wednesday night, Green scored 14 points and shot 4-of-7 from downtown. Rivers after the game commented on how AJ Green should be in the three-point contest during the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend by saying:
“If he’s not in it, it would be criminal.”
This season, he is only averaging 8.2 PPG, but he is shooting 45.5% from three-point land. The fact that AJ Green is shooting almost 50 percent from three-point land in the NBA this season is impressive. It would be a major surprise to not see him in the three-point contest during All-Star Weekend.
Fans React

It is going to be interesting to see when the three-point contestants will be announced for NBA All-Star Weekend. AJ Green deserves to be in the contest this season.
