The Milwaukee Bucks are nine games over .500 following their 132-117 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night. At 34-25, Milwaukee holds the fourth seed in the NBA Eastern Conference even though the fifth-seeded Indiana Pacers have an identical record.
The Bucks will take the court again on Tuesday night when they play against the 27-33 Atlanta Hawks on the road tomorrow night. It sounds, however, like Milwaukee be short-handed due to an injury to one of their newest players: Kyle Kuzma.
Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers Says Kyle Kuzma Is Doubtful to Play vs the Atlanta Hawks

Kuzma suffered an ankle injury during Milwaukee’s win over Dallas on Saturday night. On first viewing, it did not look good and some fans believed that he may miss an extended period of time. This, of course, would be problematic as Bobby Portis is currently in the midst of a 25-game suspension.
Thankfully, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers told reporters that Milwaukee’s starting small forward avoided a major injury:
Bucks coach Doc Rivers told reporters that the MRI on Kyle Kuzma’s right ankle came back clean, but Kuzma did not do a lot in practice today, so he suspects Kuzma will be listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s game in Atlanta.

As one can see from Eric Nehm’s X post above, Kuzma avoided major injury. However, as their game Tuesday is the first in a back-to-back (the Bucks play the Mavericks again on Wednesday), he is not likely to play against Atlanta.
Milwaukee Bucks Fans React to the Kyle Kuzma Injury Update

Kuzma, of course, was acquired from the Washington Wizards for the oft-injured Khris Middleton. While his injury is not serious, many fans are not thrilled that he will be missing time, even if it is just a game:
Wow unavailable. That was a big issue with the last guy. Now no big deal

What? Another injury?

Good grief. Thankful it’s nothing serious, hopefully he doesn’t miss too much time. https://t.co/aLyJNTKByC

Since being traded to the Bucks, Kuzma is averaging 14.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. He is also shooting 41/29/68 from the floor.
If/when he does not start, Taurean Prince will likely start at the three while either AJ Green or Gary Trent Jr. get the start at the two. Of course, Rivers could decide to give Andre Jackson Jr. a chance to start even though he has been relegated to the back of the bench.
