A Short-Handed Milwaukee Bucks

Both two-way guards Stanley Umude and Jamare Bouyea will be suiting up with the Bucks’ G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd. Reserve center Jericho Sims is out for at least three more weeks with a sprained right thumb UCL, and Bobby Portis Jr. is still serving a 25-game league suspension and can’t return to play until April.
The Milwaukee Bucks also have Giannis Antetokounmpo dealing with a lingering right knee injury, but he’s been playing through it and played in Thursday’s contest, scoring 28 points in their 118-89 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Bucks’ all-star point guard has been dealing with some right groin soreness that initially listed him as probable for Thursday’s game, but after a shoot around, he was experiencing some soreness in his right calf and was then ruled out for the game.
Lillard is averaging 24.9 points, 7.1 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals a game in 58 games. He has been integral in the Bucks’ success this season and if they want to continue on the upward trend, they’re going to need their key players to be healthy. Hopefully Lillard is ready to go for the postseason.
The last time the Bucks played the Kings back in January, they came out on top with a 130-115 victory, where Lillard contributed 24 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
