Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks made a big statement last Tuesday when they completed their dominance in the 2024 NBA Cup with a decisive 97-81 win in Las Vegas over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was awarded the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. He and Lillard also were named among the All-Tournament Team, which was selected by a media panel.
Apart from Lillard and Antetokounmpo, the other members of the 2024 NBA Cup All-Tournament Team were Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder, Alperen Sengun of the Houston Rockets and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks.

Lillard flexed his and Antetokounmpo’s All-Tournament honors with a social media post via Instagram Story on Thursday.

Antetokounmpo and Lillard played huge roles in the Bucks’ NBA Cup success. During the tournament, Antetokounmpo averaged 30.5 points on 66.7 percent shooting from the field, 10.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists. Lillard, on the other hand, produced 27.3 points with a 45.9 percent success rate from behind the arc, 8.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds.
After their NBA Cup finals win, the Bucks will look to sustain their winning ways, as they take on the dangerous Cleveland Cavaliers in a matchup between two of the best teams in the East this Friday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
