The Milwaukee Bucks are showing some slippage in form again. After silencing their critics with an incredible run in the 2024 NBA Cup, capped by a win in Las Vegas against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Bucks are having trouble again with consistency.
They are just 2-3 since the end of the NBA Cup. Additionally, they are on a two-game losing skid following their losses to the Brooklyn Nets (111-105) and to the Chicago Bulls (116-111).
The loss to the Bulls on Saturday also wasted an incredible effort from star point guard Damian Lillard, who completed a feat not done by anyone before in the franchise’s history.

Damian Lillard had a fantastic effort in Milwaukee Bucks’ loss to the Bulls
In any case, that was a spectacular performance from Lillard. Despite being ball-dominant and dominating on the dribble, he was able to avoid turning the ball over to the Bulls. As a team, the Bucks only committed seven turnovers.
Lillard had to do extra heavy lifting in the Bulls game, with partner and Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined for the fourth contest in a row due to illness. So far in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, Lillard is averaging 25.9 points, 7.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 turnovers per outing.
Meanwhile, Brook Lopez chipped in 22 points against the Bulls while Khris Middleton contributed 21 points for the Bucks, who dropped to 16-14.
Lillard and the Bucks will look to avoid a three-game losing skid when they play the Indiana Pacers this coming Tuesday on the road.
