The Milwaukee Bucks had a special guest at Fiserv Forum during their Sunday night’s game against the visiting Memphis Grizzlies, with Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy attending the contest in person.
The Bucks shared a photo of Murphy standing up and acknowledging the fans.
“NL Manager of the Year Pat Murphy in the house!” read the post, which has garnered plenty of reactions from fans – and even from the Brewers’ social media team.

“🦌 🤝 🍺,” the Brewers commented.
“My hero Pat took a picture with me 🥲,” a fan said.
From another commenter: “Best leader in the building”
More comments:
“Holy aura”
“BIG MURPH”
“Maybe Pat Murphys should coach the Bucks instead of Doc.”
“Let’s go Crew! ⚾️”
“Can he be the Manager of the Bucks too?”
The 66-year-old Murphy is coming off an impressive first season as manager of the Brewers. In fact, he won the National League Manager of the Year award right in his first campaign at the helm of Milwaukee, with the Brewers winning 93 games and topping the NL Central. The Brewers made the playoffs, and while they lost to the New York Mets in the wild-card round, Murphy showed he’s got the chops to lead Milwaukee.
Bucks fall to Grizzlies amid Murphy’s presence
Unfortunately for the Bucks, they were not able to overcome the visitors. Milwaukee suffered a 132-119 loss to the Grizzlies despite a big performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 30 points on 14-for-21 shooting from the field to go with 11 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block in 37 minutes.
The Bucks, who are now on a three-game losing skid, can end their slump this Monday night when they kick off a road trip against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
