The Milwaukee Bucks couldn’t be stopped. They recorded their seventh win in a row with a 128-107 pummeling of the Detroit Pistons on the road on Tuesday night.
Unsurprisingly, Giannis Antetokounmpo was a major driving force behind Milwaukee’s success in Motor City. The two-time Most Valuable Player was near-flawless offensively against the Pistons, who seemed to have no solution to the Greek Freak. Antetokounmpo made all of his first 10 shots in the game, providing the Bucks with the lift they needed to establish momentum and take control of the pace the rest of the way.

After the game, Antetokounmpo had an astonished reaction when he was informed that he went 10-for-10 from the field before his first (and only) miss versus Detroit.

For the record, Antetokounmpo paced the Bucks with 28 points while also shooting 8-for-12 from the free-throw line. In addition, Antetokounmpo provided eight rebounds and seven assists in 28 minutes. It wasn’t all that clean of a performance from him, as he turned the ball over six times but Milwaukee will take those in exchange for such an offensive outburst from their franchise player.
On the season, Antetokoumpo is averaging 32.7 points on a spectacular 61.7 percent shooting from the field.
Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo got plenty of support from his teammates in the Pistons game, with Damian Lillard coming up with 27 points. Milwaukee’s bench stepped up big time as well, with Gary Trent Jr. and Bobby Portis chipping in 16 and 14 points, respectively. AJ Green also came off the bench and fired 11 points.
