Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Jeff Teague is making a U-turn on his take about another former Bucks player Malik Beasley after the latter gets cleared from a gambling accusation thrown at him months ago.

Shams Charania reported that Beasley, whose last team was Detroit Pistons, is no longer a “target of the federal gambling investigation.”
Front Office Sports, however, cleared up that he could still face charges. He was just no longer on the radar of the Eastern District of New York.

Beasley’s reputation was smeared intensely by the public when this news broke out. His other issues were bare opened.

Among those who jumped on him was former NBA player Jeff Teague who basically said in a podcast that Beasley is guilty based on the videos they saw while he was still wearing a Bucks jersey.

Jeff Teague apologizes, thinks Malik Beasley should sue
Beasley’s reputation was tarnished and he lost money because of that. Teague thought he was did dirty for this unproven accusation and he knows he was among those who contributed to malignment of the shooting guard.
“My fault Malik, we was turning. We was on you bruh,” the 2021 NBA winner said in the Club 520 podcast he hosts.
He also thought that Beasley, who recorded the second most made 3 pointers last season, should sue.
“Yeah. I mean, like, is they going to pay him? Like, it’s time to put a lawsuit out.”

Someone in the show joked that maybe they can be a subject of defamation. Teague replied:
“I got nothing for you (Malik Beasley) now. You start doing that. I’mma really start talking.”
Beasley is currently working on finding a new team and with his performance from last season, there should be no reason he will start the season unsigned.
