The Milwaukee Brewers are on cruise control, as they collected yet another victory on Sunday to extend their win streak to nine games.

Thanks to a robust offense, the Brewers overcame poor pitching from starter Quinn Priester, as they came away with a come-from-behind 7-6 triumph in the series finale at American Family Field against Juan Soto and the New York Mets.

Priester surrendered six earned runs on 4 1/3 innings of work on the hill, as the Mets jumped to a 5-0 lead. Milwaukee then found its rhythm at the plate, with Collins completing the comeback by hitting a walk-off home run that went 363 feet in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Collins has been on a tear of late, with his heroic performance on Sunday keying his entry to an extremely exclusive modern-era MLB club.

    Via OptaSTATS:

Isaac Collins over his last 20 games:

    10 Multi-Hit Games

    Walkoff HR

    16 Team Wins

The only other rookie in the modern era (since 1901) to have each of those marks or better over a 20-game span is Yasiel Puig in 2013.

The Brewers saw that post and used it to make a bold claim regarding Collins.

“THE top rookie in the National League ‼️” read the Brewers’ post.

Milwaukee also has other solid rookies in Jacob Misiorowski and Caleb Durbin, highlighting just how great things are going this season for the Brewers.

Flooded streets and all, Brewers fans proved that not even Mother Nature could stop them from showing up in person at American Family Field to support Collins and company go for a series sweep against the Mets.

“I honestly didn’t know if fans were going to be able to make it, and they showed out,” Collins said after the game (h/t Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. “I love playing for this team and for this city.”

Added Collins: “It’s like magic in the air, almost. That’s how baseball is. It’s just fun. We’re having a lot of fun.”
