The Milwaukee Brewers just can’t be stopped. They ended their road trip with a 5-4 win over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, completing another sweep for their sixth win in a row. Before the trip to Atlanta, the Brewers ripped apart the Washington Nationals in D.C. for three wins.
Behind another strong showing from their pitching staff and a robust offense, the Brewers took care of business at Truist Park in Atlanta and became just the first team in the 2025 MLB season to reach the 70-win plateau.
Jose Quintana pitched six innings of three-run ball, surrendering seven hits with zero walks issued while striking out seven Braves hitters on his way to picking up his ninth pitching win of the year.
After the Braves put the first run on the board in the opening inning, the Brewers responded with five runs in a row. Rookie outfielder Isaac Collins did his part as well, as he went 3-for-4 with a run. Additionally, he recorded his 13th stolen base of the season.
The productive night by the July Rookie of the Year has the Brewers celebrating his incredible feat.
“Isaac Collins has reached base all four times so far tonight — his THIRD time reaching 4x this season 🤯,” the Brewers wrote in a post on X.

Milwaukee Brewers are looking more and more dangerous

The Brewers have taken their game to another level since the start of the second half of the season. They have lost just four times after the break, and there’s been no significant sign of slowing down for Pat Murphy’s squad. Milwaukee has hit .302/.361/.468 with 113 runs and a 3.41 ERA so far in the second half.
Looking ahead, the Brewers will look to add to the woes of the New York Mets, as Milwaukee returns home for a three-game series against Juan Soto and company, beginning this Friday at American Family Field.
