Former New York Yankees arm Josh Maciejewski is headed to the Milwaukee Brewers organization. It was reported late Friday that Maciejewski and the Brewers have agreed to a minor-league deal, according to Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston:

Maciejewski debuted last year with the #Yankees, posting a 2.57 ERA across 7 IP.
He spent the majority of the season at Triple-A Scranton.
Brewers land ex-Yankees pitcher in sneak move
Apart from his short stint in the big leagues with the Yankees in 2024, Maciejewski, who will be 30 years old in August, spent the majority of that year in the minors. The Yankees designated him for assignment in September before eventually clearing waivers. He appeared in 19 games for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, posting a 2-3 record to go along with a 5.37 ERA and a WHIP of 1.475. He also pitched in seven games for the Somerset Patriots with whom he went 0-2 while coming up with a 7.11 ERA with a 1.500 WHIP.

“Opponents fared well when they put the ball in play, though, running a lofty .327 average on balls in play. That predictably had an impact on his bottom line results. Maciejewski had found better results in the minors in 2023. He combined for a 2.96 ERA over 45 2/3 frames between three levels that season. He’s capable of working multiple innings and has an even 4.00 earned run average over his minor league career.”
During the 2024 MLB season, the Brewers’ bullpen was second in the big leagues with a 3.11 ERA and seventh with a 3.78 FIP.
