The Milwaukee Brewers keep on rolling, but there are still issues the team is dealing with amid a scorching run. The Brewers, who extended their win streak to seven games after taking down the New York Mets in a series opener on Friday at home, have a banged-up pitching staff. Jacob Misiorowski is on the 15-day injured list with a tibia, and he’s joined there by Logan Henderson, whose right elbow inflammation will cost him some time.
Henderson was recalled from the minors to start in lieu of Misiorowski last Sunday, pitching for 4 1/3 innings and allowing an earned run on three hits with four strikeouts and two free passes issued in a 14-3 victory over the Washington Nationals on the road. When he tried to throw some pitches on Monday, Henderson felt something in his shoulders, which he immediately told the Brewers’ medical staff.
The good news for Henderson and the Brewers is that his elbow issue doesn’t seem to be serious enough to keep him sidelined for a long time.
According to Brewers manager Pat Murphy, the MRI result on Henderson’s shoulder showed no UCL damage.
Via Jack Stern of Brewer Fanatic:
“Pat Murphy said Henderson’s MRI revealed a flexor strain. No damage to the UCL. The expectation is that he ‘shouldn’t be out too long.’”

Milwaukee Brewers add to Mets’ woes

The Brewers scored their 71st win of the season by defeating the Mets, 3-2. Brandon Woodruff twirled seven innings of two-run ball, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out eight New York batters. The Mets are left with a losing skid that reached five games with that defeat to Milwaukee.
Woodruff improved to 4-0 in the 2025 MLB season, while Trevor Megill shut the door on New York for his 27th save of the season. Blake Perkins also deserves much credit for Milwaukee’s win, as his incredible throw to get Starling Marte out at home plate in the bottom of the ninth preserved the lead and secured the win for the Brewers.
