The Los Angeles Dodgers came to their stadium with intensity to prevent another sweep from the hands of the Milwaukee Brewers. Their fans’ hope for that to happen got even bigger when it was confirmed that the Milwaukee line-up will feature players who were recently called-up or other coming off injuries.

Meanwhile, Dodgers had their main hitters like Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts in the game.
It was not a give away as most Brewers fans feared. Blake Perkins, Isaac Collins, Joey Ortiz, and the rest of the crew worked hard and gifted the fans a rare season sweep of the most talented team in the league right now.
Manager Pat Murphy thought it was the team showing how hungry they are.

“It’s a bunch of guys nobody’s ever heard of,” Murphy said post-game as quoted by MLB.com’s Andrés Soto.
“No disrespect to the great fans of Japan baseball, but they can’t name five guys in our lineup. And that’s just a credit to hungry, hungry players. … I’m still proud of our club and what they did, and how they competed in big situations. A bunch of average Joes.”
Milwaukee Brewers’ hunger according to Jose Quintana
Jose Quintana is among the leaders of that rag-tag team and he, too, thinks there’s something different with the level of hunger his team is having.
“These guys are amazing,” he said.
“They want to play. They want to stay hungry all the time. … They turn the pace really quick. If we get a win, we’re on to the next step.”

The Brewers are now on their 10-game winning streak and matched Chicago Cubs’ 59-40 record at the top of the National League Central.
They will return to action on Monday against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park, followed by a series with the Miami Marlins back home at the American Family Field.
