Milwaukee Brewers: Pat Murphy Has Best Explanation for Team’s Ruthlessness on the Road

It doesn’t matter where they’re playing; the Milwaukee Brewers are beating teams and collecting series wins since the second of the 2025 MLB regular season started.

After completing a three-game sweep of the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in Atlanta with a 5-4 win on Wednesday night, the Brewers have now swept back-to-back series away from home and emerged victorious in all four road series following the 2025 MLB All-Star break, thus far.

Milwaukee started the second half like a house on fire, sweeping the reigning World Series champions Los Angeles Dodgers in LA then took two of four games in enemy territory versus the Seattle Mariners. All told, the Brewers are 11-1 in road games since the Midsummer Classic.

Pat Murphy shares his thoughts on Milwaukee Brewers’ road dominance

After Milwaukee’s three-game dismantling of the Braves, Brewers manager Pat Murphy spoke about his team’s success even when they’re in other stadiums, saying that the players are just focused on winning games regardless of location.

“I think that sometimes we make too much of it, the home and away stuff,” Murphy said (via

Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel).

“This team’s proven that they like the challenge. And I don’t even think they think about it. They’re just so hungry and they want to play so bad and they like playing, you know?”

The Brewers, who are on a six-game win streak, don’t have to think about playing on the road for now, as their next two series will be at American Family Field. They have the New York Mets visiting for a three-game series starting this Friday before the Pittsburgh Pirates come to town.
