Quinn Priester continues to be the gift that keeps on giving for the Milwaukee Brewers.

On Monday, Priester earned yet another victory, as he silenced the Atlanta Braves in a 3-1 victory at Truist Park. Priester, who was acquired by the Brewers via a trade with the Boston Red Sox last April in exchange for Yophery Rodriguez, John Holobetz and a 2025 first-round pick, gave up just an earned run on two hits with two walks issued and four strikeouts in seven innings of action on the mound versus the Braves.

With that performance, the 24-year-old Priester has tied a franchise record for longest pitching win streak. The team announced that feat with a post on social media.

Priester has also won each of his last four starts prior to stepping on the mound for the Braves game. After taming Atlanta, Priester has improved to 11-2 with a 3.15 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through 21 appearances, including 16 starts. He has not allowed more than two earned runs in five starts in a row, as he adds to the success of the Brewers, who are simply on a roll.

Milwaukee’s win in the series opener against the Braves has extended the Brewers’ win streak to five games. It was also their seventh victory in eight games. With the Chicago Cubs losing on the same night, the Brewers now have a three-game lead atop the National League Central division. They also have the most wins in the big leagues overall, thus far in the 2025 MLB season.

Looking ahead, Milwaukee will try to sustain its terrific form when it gives the ball to Freddy Peralta for the second game of the Atlanta series this Tuesday.
