The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers played in a Cactus League game on Saturday in which the Brew Crew got roughed up in an 11-3 loss. During this outing three pitchers were responsible for giving up all of the runs.
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Janson Junk gave up three earned runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In two innings of work Janson Junk got tagged with three earned runs and five hits allowed. He gave up one run in the first inning and then two runs in the second inning. His outing lasted 43 pitches that included four whiffs on 16 swings.
Joel Payamps gives up four earned runs including two home runs.
In the fourth inning the Brewers brought in Joel Payamps. He was unable to complete the inning as he gave up four hits and a pair of home runs against Miguel Vargas and James Outman. This was his first outing of spring training for Payamps.
Aaron Ashby had to be removed after recording just one out.
Aaron Ashby’s first outing of the spring did not go well. He gave up two hits, one walk, two hits, one home run, and he hit a batter. Velocity wise he was sitting at 94 MPH and scraped 95 MPH.
The Brewers next spring training game will be on Sunday, March 3 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Freddy Peralta is slated to start that game.
