Spring training for the Milwaukee Brewers is right around the corner. It is going to be interesting to see who will make the Opening Day roster for the 2025 season for manager Pat Murphy.

The Brewers are looking to three-peat as National League Central Champions. Milwaukee is looking to make it past the wild card round this time around if they are to get back to the playoffs this season. There will be some questions to answer with the roster before the start of the 2025 MLB season.
Milwaukee Brewers Prospect Jeferson Quero Is Not Projected To Start the 2025 Season On the Roster

Catcher Jeferson Quero is the top prospect in the Brewers organization. Some are wondering whether or not he is going to start the season in 2025 with the Milwaukee Brewers or the Nashville Sounds in Triple-A. Well, MLB.com writer Adam McCalvy predicted the Brewers’ Opening Day roster for the 2025 season.
At the catcher position, he has William Contreras and Eric Haase making the roster to start the year. McCalvy has Quero just missing the cut, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t be up there at some point in 2025. Adam McCalvy said:
“Waiting in the wings (and now on the 40-man roster) is Jeferson Quero, MLB Pipeline’s top Brewers prospect, who missed all of last season following surgery on his throwing shoulder.”
The Milwaukee Brewers probably want to get Jeferson Quero some work in the minor leagues before he gets called up to the big leagues for the 2025 season. Quero has a lot of talent. Had he not been injured last season, he might have been up in the big leagues a season ago. Working on his game in the minor leagues before contributing to the Milwaukee Brewers won’t be a bad thing.
