Spring training is right around the corner for the Milwaukee Brewers and there will be some interesting prospects up on the team for spring training. One of the interesting prospects that will be up for spring training is pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski.
There is a chance that he could be in the starting rotation or the bullpen at some point in the 2025 MLB season for the Brewers. It will be interesting to see how he will impress during spring training for manager Pat Murphy. There is a chance that Misiorowski may have to start the 2025 season in the minor leagues.
CBS Sports Writer R.J. Anderson Has Milwaukee Brewers Prospect Jacob Misiorowski Ranked Third
CBS sports writer R.J. Anderson wrote about the three best prospects in the Brewers farm system entering the 2025 season. He has catcher Jeferson Quero ranked first, shortstop Jesus Made ranked second, and then pitcher Jacob Misiorowski ranked third. Misiorowski has been one of the Brewers’ best prospects ever since getting into the organization.
“Misiorowski is a fascinating prospect. He’s averaged nearly 13 strikeouts per nine innings as a professional thanks to an outstanding arsenal (one pitch-quality model graded all five of his pitches as above-average) and a deceptive low-slot release. Unfortunately, his ascent has been slowed by a pesky little flaw: his well-below-average command. Misiorowski has handed out nearly six free passes per nine, calling into question his chances of lasting as a big-league starter. If the Brewers can help him tighten his handle, he has impact-starter upside; of course, if it were that simple, it would already be done. As such, Misiorowski seems more likely to land in a high-leverage relief role. We’ll give him another year to avoid that designation.”
He pitched for two teams last season in the minor leagues. Misiorowski had a 3-5 record with a 3.33 ERA. In 97.1 innings pitched, he gave up 57 hits and 41 runs. Jacob Misiorowski also walked 60 batters and struck out 127 batters. His WHIP was 1.20.
Projected ETA Time Summer 2025
CBS Sports also said about him that:
“MLB ETA: Summer 2025″
If Jacob Misiorowski won’t be with the Milwaukee Brewers big league club until the summer of 2025, then it probably means that he will still need some work down in the minor leagues. It would mean that he would start the season with the Nashville Sounds in Triple-A. He also was with the Biloxi Shuckers in Double-A a season ago.
Jacob Misiorowski is 22 years old. He has a lot of potential for the Brewers and it would not be a surprise to see him replace someone in the rotation or the bullpen later this MLB season also.
