It’s August and the Milwaukee Brewers have the best record in baseball, becoming the first team to reach 70 wins this season. Fans in the 4-1-4 have been rewarding the team with some great home crowds, that includes four straight sellouts (prior to the New York Mets series starting on Friday, August 8) and six of seven since the All-Star break.
Tickets this weekend against the Mets are a hard find and all three games of the series are expected to be sellouts. This will bring the Brewers home sellout streak to seven consecutive games, which is a level last seen in 2008.

According to Mike Vassallo, the Brewers last recorded five straight home sellouts in 2011. Before that, they posted an impressive 22 consecutive sellouts during the 2008 season. With strong attendance expected this weekend, the current streak is projected to hit seven, and could keep growing from there.
