The Milwaukee Brewers have just unlocked the gift of free burgers, thanks to a scorching win streak that is now at 12 games following a 12-5 win in the series finale over the Pittsburgh Pirates at home on Wednesday.
Before that, they swept the New York Mets, also at home. That’s six wins in a row at American Family Field, which they will bid goodbye to for now, a they hit the road for two series away from home.
But before that, the Brewers showed appreciation to their fans with a message to them via social media.
“Another perfect homestand in front of the best fans in baseball…we love you, MKE,” the Brewers shared in a post on Instagram, along with a photo of Christian Yelich giving a thumbs up to the fans at American Family Field.

The Brewers are looking unstoppable at the moment, as they continue to run away with the top spot in the National League Central. Their 76-44 record is 7.5 games better than the rest of the division. No other team has more than 70 wins through Wednesday.
Ahead of the Brewers is a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park, followed by a series against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
Milwaukee’s home fans can see the team again on Aug. 22, when the Brewers face off against Willy Adames and the San Francisco Giants.
