The Milwaukee Brewers can do no wrong these days as they are now on a 10-game winning streak, scorching even the most expensive and most talented team assembled this season.
The Brewers just did a sweep repeat of the Los Angeles Dodgers in their first series after the All-Star break. The most admirable thing about the second one was that the team battled through adversity after the defending champions almost took away one of those games.
It is their fourth straight series win and are now sitting behind the Chicago Cubs in the National League Central standings with identical 59-40 record.
The wins against the Dodgers make people say they are legit contenders and Bleacher Report has to honor that, including them as 2025 World Series winners in their list of bold predictions after the start of the second half of the season.
Writer Kelly Miller called the current squad the “most legitimate World Series contender that Milwaukee has ever assembled.”
One year removed from the massive market mayhem of a Dodgers-Yankees World Series, something like Brewers-Tigers in the 2025 Fall Classic would be a tough pill for MLB’s advertising sales team to swallow.
However, that doesn’t make it any less plausible, as the Brew Crew surged into the All-Star break with a 20-7 record dating back to Jacob Misiorowski’s MLB debut.

What does Vegas feels right now about the Brewers? Their odds to win the title remains unchanged.
Dodgers remain the favorite with +255 odds followed by the New York Yankees’ +650.
Brewers are at no. 10 with odds of +2500 (bet $10 to win $260 total).
Of course, there’s a reason why it is called bold prediction. Brewers have to be bold themselves and defy these odds.
