Andrew Vaughn has only been a Milwaukee Brewers for more than a month and batted for the team only in July 7 but already, he built his own legend.

The 27-year-old first baseman, initially regarded by many as a filler just to get unhappy Aaron Civale out of the team, appeared to have broken out of his shell since his struggle with the Chicago White Sox and is now a source of excitement in the American Family Field.
He did what he does best on Tuesday when he led the team to a second straight victory against their rivals Chicago Cubs. He did not just make his new team happy but also etched his name in history books along the way according to OpStats.
Vaughn is now on the same league as MLB great Barry Bonds and nothing can take that way from him.

OptaStats shared these three stat thresholds for a player’s first 10 home games with a team, and now, Bonds and Vaughn are the two players in MLB history to reach them:
.475 batting average
1.000 slugging percentage
15 RBI
Specifically in this stretch, Vaughn is batting .484 at home with a 1.097 slugging and 19 RBI.

He reached that milestone on Tuesday night in 9-3 win against the Cubs through a grand slam off a pitch by Ryan Pressly. Vaughn sent the ball 409 feet to the left side of the field in the sixth inning.
He also recorded a run in the second and hit an RBI single in the fifth.
Andrew Vaughn’s record so far
It’s not like Vaughn did not have this pedigree. He did struggle in his last few weeks with the White Sox but there is a reason why he was picked third overall in the 2019 draft.
Manager Pat Murphy is not surprised with his recent success.

“We’ve seen Vaughn in the big leagues for a while so it’s not as surprising as you may think,” he said.
“But he had really not put it together this year. The swing decisions are great. The swings are great.”
He has played 14 games for the Brew Crew so far, recording four doubles, four homers and a .341 average.
