One year ago the Milwaukee Brewers signed 25 international free agents on day one of the 2024 international signing period. Headlining that group of players was Jesus Made, who quickly ascended the organization’s prospect rankings list after an impressive showing in the Dominican Summer League. To kick off the 2025 signing period, the Brewers signed 29 international free agents.

The Milwaukee Brewers also got the best Venezuelan prospect Brailyn Antunez
Milwaukee has good ties in Venezuela as current rising MLB star Jackson Chourio signed as an international free agent from that country. According to Ben Badler, this year the Brewers arguably signed the best prospect not only out of Venezuela, but from same city in which Chourio reigns from as they got outfielder Brailyn Antunez to sign for $1.0 million. Antunez has 5-tool player potential and will be one player to keep a close eye on.
