Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has emerged as a focal point of the offense and is on the cusp of becoming viewed as one of the top players at the position across the league. But, he isn’t the only standout tight end on the roster.
As Kraft, 6-foot-5 and 258 pounds, approaches his third NFL season with 81 career receptions for 1,062 yards and nine touchdowns, there is a legitimate chance he becomes the top target in quarterback Jordan Love’s supporting cast.
But, alongside Kraft, is Luke Musgrave, whose career has been besieged by injuries but has still carved out a niche in the offense that he hopes becomes an expanded role this fall.
Luke Musgrave’s Personal Goal for 2025 Packers Season

Musgrave’s first two seasons have been marred by a lacerated kidney, an ankle injury, among other ailments, that have limited him to 18 games through his first two seasons.
So, it isn’t a surprise that Musgrave sets out to be more healthy this season, as the building block to being a more prolific piece of the Packers’ offense.
“I need to stay healthy, just be a more complete tight end, working on my blocking,” Musgrave told the Packers’ official website. “So that’s what I’ve done. I still have so much more to improve upon in all facets of my game, but I do feel comfortable with the place I’m at right now, and excited to keep improving.”
If Musgrave is able to follow through, and stay on the field this season, he has the potential to be another playmaker in an already improved cast of weapons around Love, bolstered by rookie wide receivers Matthew Golden and Savion Williams, alongside Kraft and Green Bay’s other young pass catchers.
