The Green Bay Packers had an ominous forecast for a key pass rusher following a major win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. The Packers’ pass rush greatly affected their impressive upset of the Cowboys in the Wild Card round.
The Packers defensive line dominated the Cowboys offensive line. They sacked quarterback Dak Prescott four times for 16 yards. The Packers defensive unit has looked impressive three games in a row. Unfortunately, they will have to try to win their next matchup against the San Francisco 49ers without Kingsley Enagbare.
The Green Bay Packers lose a pass rusher to injury
Enagbare sustained an injury in the second half. Matt Schneidman with The Athletic reported Enagbare was spotted heading into the locker room during the game. Head coach Matt LaFleur gave a brief update on Enagbare following the game. He said his “heart hurt” for Enagbare:
“My heart hurts right now for JJ. It doesn’t look good for him.”

LaFleur uses that language when the Packers believe a player has sustained a severe or season-ending injury. It appears Enagbare will miss the rest of the Packers’ postseason.
Per Andy Herman with Packer Report, Isaiah McDuffie, Quay Walker, and Jaire Alexander are other Packers players who have concerning injuries following the Wild Card game Sunday.
