Khris Middleton played a pivotal role in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 125-110 victory against the Utah Jazz yesterday, as he put up a season-high 22 points, three rebounds, and three assists on an efficient 10-for-13 shooting from the field.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard notching 35 points apiece, the Milwaukee Bucks’ Big 3 combined for 92 of the team’s points.
According to Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, this is the seventh time in the last two seasons each member of the Big 3 scored at least 20 points, with the previous one being last January 31, 2024.
Middleton also played 27 minutes in the double-digit victory, his highest logged time since December 28. Before this, the three-time NBA All-Star played only 19 minutes in the defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers, grabbing four rebounds and missing all four shots.
Khris Middleton “felt good” in the Milwaukee Bucks-Utah Jazz game
Khris Middleton looked like his old self against the Utah Jazz, hitting some of his patented midrange fadeaways and a catch-and-shoot three-pointer off Giannis Antetokounmpo’s dime. The three-time NBA All-Star said he hopes to continue to have these types of performances moving forward.
“I felt good,” Middleton said. “I was able to get a couple mismatches and take advantage of it, get to my spots and just play aggressive, try to play my game, like I said get to my spots, find guys, just try to create a problem.”
“It was definitely a little bit tougher with the thin air up here, but all in all I think I turned out fine, felt fine,” he added.
