Julia Orzol, now a Wisconsin Badgers volleyball alum, will be continuing her career in the professional ranks as she has signed with a team in Poland. Orzol previously indicated that playing in Europe was in the works, but now that is a reality. She is scheduled to make her pro debut on December 30, 2024.

In a letter written by Julia Orzol towards the end of her Wisconsin Badgers volleyball tenure, she briefly mentioned continuing her volleyball career in Europe. Orzol said, “I definitely want to go back to Europe and play volleyball professionally. It’s a work in progress, as they say.”

The Chemik Police are a part of the Polish Women’s Volleyball League and both Julia Orzol and the organization are thrilled to have united. After the signing Orzol announced, “After a few years break I am returning to Poland and I feel a lot of excitement. I’m joining one of the most prestigious teams in Polish volleyball history. I’m very happy about it and I’m looking forward to my debut.”
