Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers‘ offense struggled mightily to move the football and connect in the passing game, but that wasn’t the worst news to come out of a dreadful 30-10 loss to the New York Jets.
Tuesday, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst revealed that Love is undergoing a procedure on his left thumb.
Packers Not Concerned Jordan Love’s Thumb Injury Will Linger

The good news for Love, and Green Bay, is that the Packers expect the 26-year-old to be back on the practice field next week, which is plenty of time to get fully healthy for the regular season opener against the Detroit Lions on Sept. 7.
“I don’t see this affecting him long term,” Gutekunst told reporters.
Love completed just one-of-five passing attempts for seven yards, as Packers receivers continued to struggle with dropped passes which plagued Green Bay’s pass catchers throughout the 2024 campaign.
